Dr. Rajan Modi has always kept himself updated by visiting conferences & workshops as he believes that “What was good then is not good today, and Probably with the progress what is good now may not be good enough in future” .

Successfully mastered the Laparoscopic Abdominal Procedures, Laser and Stapler Piles procedures & Diabetic Foot Management during his practice of last twenty five years. During this period, operating all vein surgery with old gold standard techniques of stripping realized a strong need for minimal access for these problems of Varicose Veins and mastered the techniques with various workshops and attending international masters and thus became a member of American College of Phlebology, USA.

He understood the increasing prevalence of Diabetes in the society and its bad effects such as Diabetic Foot, Diabetic Neuropathy and Diabetic Wounds. He then mastered techniques of Diabetic Foot Care and started implementing in his practice. Dr. Rajan Modi established modern state of art Surgical Services in suburbs of Mumbai i.e. Goregaon in 1987 at Kapadia Multspeciality Hospital. Dr.Rajan Modi also has rich and long experience in administration and management.

Dr. Rajan Modi started his career with Kapadia Multispecialty Hospital, Goregaon Mumbai and implemented his past rich experience of J. J. Hospital (Hub for advance General Surgeries). He successfully established and develop a very modern and comprehensive surgical center.

Dr. Rajan Modi has published several papers, delivered guest lectures and chaired scientific sessions at various places. His major area of interest is Diabetic Foot Care, Varicose Vein & Proctology. He then established first Advanced Wound & Vein clinic of Mumbai with State of Art technologies and HBOT & Podiatry Support. Here he treated many patients of Diabetic Foot using his skills and advanced technology through holistic approach and saved legs of many.

Presently contributing with his skills and values of humanity at his own hospital named as Kapadia Multispecialty Hospital which is fully equipped with modern and sophisticated equipment to provide all the medical services related with General Surgery and facilities related to the general health to the needy patents. Dr. Rahul Modi have undergone rigorous residency having alternate day calls and working for 16 hours a day for a period of 3 years which has helped me to become one of the best orthopedic surgeons of his age. His passion, hardwork and dedication still continues and the hunger to do better and more cases increases day by day. Dr. Rahul Modi have undergone exclusive training in Arthroscopy surgery under Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala and Dr. Abhay Narvekar. Dr. Rahul Modi have been exposed to all facets of arthroscopy surgery: Investigation, diagnosis, pre-operative evaluation, planning, risk assessment and consenting, surgical procedures as well as post-operative care and mobilization.

Outpatient Department: Independently handled Outpatient department with approximately 150 patients of orthopedics every day. Fresh patients and follow-up patients were managed and worked up. Assisted in the OPD of eminent surgeons like Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala and Dr. Abhay Narvekar learning not only the correct line of management but also how to talk to patients in a humble and polite manner.

Ward: I was part of preoperative evaluation, planning and work up of patients with single and multiple ligament injuries, cuff tears, shoulder dislocations and other sports injuries. I was in charge of the care and post-operative rehabilitation of an average of 10 patients every day.

Theatre:

Performed more than 500 orthopaedic trauma cases till now.
Performed a wide variety of cases of knee arthroscopy which include ligament reconstructions, meniscus repair surgeries, cartilage preservation surgeries, multiligament reconstructions and also open surgeries like osteotomies and stage II ACIs.
Performed shoulder arthroscopies mainly comprising of labral injuries (recurrent dislocations, SLAP tears and multidirectional instabilities) and rotator cuff tears.
Performed ankle joint arthroscopy.
Assisted other joint arthroscopies of the hip, ankle, wrist and elbow.

Dr Rakhi Dhotre is an Otolaryngologist (Ear Nose Throat and Head & Neck Surgeon) with almost 17 years standing. She has had her undergraduate and post– graduate training in ENT from the Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospital and has had a sterling career with several academic laurels. Later, she has visited several centres in the USA, Italy and France for further training in Cochlear Implant, Endoscopic Ear surgery and Endoscopic Sinus & Skull base Surgery. She has numerous publications in Indexed Journals and has been a faculty at various National & International Conferences.
